When Experience Matters
President and owner, Richard (Rick) Ewer, P.E. graduated from Texas A&M University at Galveston in 2000, with a B.S. in Maritime Systems Engineering after serving in the U.S. Coast Guard.
Rick’s extensive experience includes serving as a government contractor to NAVSEA in Arlington, VA, performing stress analysis on Expeditionary Warfare surface ships such as LHD and LPDs. He also worked as a structural engineer for two Houston-area consulting firms. He is a registered professional engineer in Texas, Louisiana, Florida, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and is a certified inspector with the Texas Department of Insurance.
Founded in League City, in 2015, Celerity Engineering, Inc., is a registered firm with the Texas State Board of Professional Engineers, firm 10968.

Delivering Excellence
Our project experience is diverse and includes structural design & analysis of marine systems and offshore coastal structures such as vessel berthing/mooring systems, docks, breakwater structures, piers, and bulkheads.
We have extensive experience in industrial structures such as ground storage tanks and flares, and pipe racks for petrochemical facilities, and institutional structures such as schools and libraries as well as residential and commercial construction.
In addition to concept-to-completion designs, Celerity can perform structural assessments of existing and aged structures, with detailed reporting.
